Amazing hosts. Great communication even before we arrived in Portugal. Our train was late coming in to Porto. Thank you Sarah for your patience and your warm guided tour of the place. Booklet provided in the room gave us very useful and detailed info to all near by shops. Beautiful and meticulous design. Very comfortable beds. Centrally located. We had a great time in Porto, in part, because we had such a lovely stay.

Excellent stay
We were met on arrival by a lovely lady who showed how everything worked and gave great tips on restaurants and things to do. We ate at two of the restaurants and they were both lovely. Communication was excellent from before we arrived until departure. They even have a place to store your bag a few doors away for free which we used as we had a late flight. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It had a washing machine (with some washing pods) coffee machine (with coffee) , iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Lots of wardrobe space, a lovely comfortable bed and air con. We cannot fault the apartment. The apartment was on a quiet street which was on a steady incline ( it so is all of Porto so flat shoes are needed). It was about 5 mins walk to Balhoa market and 12 minutes to Sao Bento station. There was two great breakfast places on the street (it’s a very long street) that are a must try - do Norte by hungry biker and alice in brew land. Porto is a great place with something for everyone. I would definitely recommend the port tour.

Fabio was fantastic and always quick to reply. He brought us extra coffee pods, hangers, soap for washer and dishwasher. He met us upon arrival and showed us how everything works and also provided a short manual about Porto . The bed was comfy and also the Murphy bed came in handy!! The area is great, lots of restaurants and coffee places when you walk down the hill. However, most places dont open until 10 or 11 am , so you may need to walk a bit further to find a coffee.

No parking and it was about a 1 km walk to park our car, and it was 17 Euros a day, so an added expense. The washer/dryer was very difficult to figure out also. But it was a beautiful accommodation, very clean and quiet, and very central. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful Stay at Almada Domus in Porto, Portugal Our recent stay at Almada Domus in Porto was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Fabio warmly greeted us at the entrance with a friendly smile and plenty of helpful information about the area. The apartment itself was nothing short of spectacular. It was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn't have been better – we were within walking distance of all the major sites and attractions in Porto. Being able to stroll to places like the Ribeira district and the Dom Luís I Bridge made our visit even more memorable. The convenience of having such a central location allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the charm of Porto. We loved exploring the nearby cafes, restaurants, and shops, all of which added to the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Overall, our experience at Almada Domus exceeded our expectations in every way. Fabio's hospitality and the quality of the accommodation made our trip to Porto truly unforgettable. Excelente opción para visitar Oporto y realizar excursiones por los alrededores por estar cerca de la estación de metro de Trindade y ja de tren de Sao Bento. Apartamento espacioso, limpio y muy moderno y funcional. Incluye lavadora-secadora, horno-microondas y todo l necesario para una estancia muy agradable. Por poner un pero, el apartamento que nos tocó tenía una ventana estropeada y estaba anulada para que no se abriese, lo que complicaba la ventilación. Salvo esto, todo excelente, incluyendo a la persona que nos recibió, Fabio, muy atento y amable. Muchas gracias.

Accommodation was conveniently located near a metro stop and walking distance to lots of restaurants/ bars/ cafes and attractions. We really enjoyed our recent stay at Almada Modus in Porto, Portugal. Fabio was wonderful and responsive to any queries we have. He met us at the apartment and gave us a run down of the appliances in the apartment, how to operate them as well as a list of recommendations for groceries and dining options. The apartment itself is very spacious and there were a lot of closet to put our things away and hang clothes, etc They provided adequate supply of toiletries as well as laundry detergent and dishwasher soap with a note to ask if more is needed. The washer/dryer was very useful - however, like most European washer/dryer combo, we found this inefficient - it took too long to wash or dry. Still it was convenient to have the option to wash the laundry every day if you want to. Would definitely stay there again!
