The bed in the "master" was surprisingly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as I have a hard time sleeping anywhere that's not my own bed. It's also ergonomic which was super cool. "We picked this place because it was 5 minutes from our son's house. It is a very nice basement apartment. Spacious kitchen and a cozy fireplace. Two things that would take away from the stay were not being able to control the heat and the footsteps of the occupants upstairs. But, you would have the same in a condo or apartment rental. The house is in very quiet neighborhood, which we loved. Most likely would stay again. "

"We had a hiccup at first, with our original location being unavailable at the last minute due to weather damage. Vacasa found us a new place to stay immediately. What they didn’t tell us (because they probably didn’t know) was that the power was out. The home owner was there, fortunately!) and got us settled, built a fire and made sure we were comfortable.
