The house is indeed charming and they provide a lovely breakfast. Linens were top notch! We liked the central location so we could walk to dinner. We took advantage of the reasonably priced secure on-site parking lot. Note there is not an elevator so pack light!

This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are spacious. Our room had a little balcony with seats overlooking the courtyard. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had an early flight leaving before breakfast was served, so takeaway breakfasts were delivered to our room.

Problems with shower and lock marred the stay
This hotel is charming, but there were some problems that made the stay less than perfect. One problem was that the shower in Room 10 was busted (the holder was busted so you couldn't take a normal shower under the showerhead/nozzle... you had to hold it with your hand.) Another issue is that we were woken up near midnight on the first night of our stay by people knocking on the door. It was hitel staff, because they were wondering how we had a key to the room when they still had two keycards in their possession.. we showed them our card, and they realized it was their error, but we were exhausted after traveling for 15 hours, so this was very bad timing to interrupt our sleep. We also found out that the lock to our door wasn't working at all... the room had remained unlocked all day with our possessions inside. Fortunately, nothing happened, but it could have... they had to repair the door lock the following day. After that, everything was fine. Breakfasts were decent and the location is good (be aware you have to climb stairs to get to the rooms.) This would have been a 5 star stay, but the problems we encountered really detracted from the experience.

Magnífica estancia
El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado. La cama es muy cómoda. El desayuno es lo mejor, súper completo y de calidad. El baño un poco pequeño pero cumple su función. Falta algo de espacio para guardar la ropa y papeleras. Está en una calle un poco ruidosa por las noches. El personal es muy amable y eficiente.

Charming Stay!
We adored our stay at this incredible hotel. It is located in the perfect place for walking around town and had a private parking lot that is gated. The hotel is extremely clean and classy. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had while traveling! I have Celiac Disease and the women at the hotel prepared me a special plate of gluten free pastries every morning. The attention to detail was so appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay here and would come back to this hotel if ever in the Azores again!

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night in this guesthouse and would like to come back next time visiting Punta Delgado. All Perfect ! As we had to leave early for the airport, we got a nice breakfast bag to take with us. Amazing!

Nette B&B gelegen in een gerenoveerde vrijstaande stadsvilla, omgeven door palmbomen. Het was de vijfde accommodatie en laatste halte op onze ontdekkingsreis van de Azoren. De sfeer vonden we hier iets zakelijker dan bij de andere accommodaties die we op dat moment bezocht hadden, het personeel afstandelijker (maar wel vriendelijk en correct). De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en proper, al is een investering in nieuwe tapijten en handig te gebruiken toiletborstels misschien wel op zijn plaats. De charme van het oude gebouw heeft helaas ook het nadeel dat de vloeren luid kraken: we durfden ons haast niet om te draaien in bed omdat we vreesden de gasten in de kamer ernaast wakker te maken... Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker, met onder meer een rijk aanbod aan vers fruit. Ponta Delgada zelf is een charmante stad maar kampt met dezelfde issues waar elke stad mee te maken heeft (mensen die onder invloed op straat rondlopen, mensen die geld komen vragen wanneer je op een terras zit etc.). Restaurant O Giro aan de overkant van de B&B is wat ons betreft een absolute aanrader, evenals Taberna na Boavista dat op een kwartiertje wandelen ligt. De gelateria in dezelfde straat als de B&B (Abracadabra) vonden wij ook zeer goed.

Casa das Palmeiras was a nice, quaint breakfast and bed stay. It is surrounded by a number of restaurants and bars - literally steps from the hotel. The breakfast was good and provided a nice "homey" feel to it. The room itself was nice and neat with quality service.

Beautiful rooms in the heart of Ponta Delgada. Absolutely lovely breakfast every morning. As expected with a historical property, soundproofing in the bedrooms is not the best, but it did not bother us. Would stay again!

Nice location close to everything and walkable. Room was a little tight for 2 people. Washroom was very modern but very small. Bed was very comfortable. A lot of natural light during day and good lighting at night.
