"The property was very clean and upscale. They had a breakfast option (we didn’t use) but that looked wonderful with a good selection of fresh food items. Drinks were served downstairs near reception and it was a very comfortable and cozy environment with different seating areas with a variety of options. The receptionists were helpful, fluent in English and German, and very professional. "

"Loved our room with the separate living space with a couch and chair. Beautiful view from the 4th floor. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice to have the shutters to close at night. Paid $18EU/person to have breakfast included which consisted of some hot food(eggs, sausage and bacon) as well as cold meats, cheeses, granola. Walk to downtown was approximately 25 minutes but bus service nearby. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The property and room were fine, but due to the summer weather, we needed to keep the windows open for airflow. Unfortunately, our room faced the street, and it was a very busy street with traffic noice all night. For a future stay, I would request a room that is not street facing to minimize noice level."

"This was the perfect place to stay during Christmas. They have a historic movie theater attached which we attended, also an excellent Italian restaurant where we ate 3 times, room was updated and with a beautiful bathroom. Easy taxi ride of about 13 euro, to the hotel and back. Very good breakfast, and being in old town adds to the experience. Very friendly staff as well."

"This may have easily been our favorite stay of our entire European Christmas Market trip. Felt more like home or a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Guesthouse is very appropriate. Walking distance to just about everything and when it wasn't there was great public transportation or Uber. Breakfast was amazing and they even had a honor system for cold drinks. "Great location! Lots of shopping and restaurants neaby. The hotel bar has great drinks and atmosphere. If your too lazy to leave, they also have great quick bites. The rooms are very clean and offer excellent amenities. The biggest 5 star rating about this hotel is the staff. They are fantastic. Very helpful and really nice to talk to. We changed our reservation to leave Vienna quicker than anticipated and are so thankful we did. To be honest, I thought I was going to go home disliking Austria because of the attitudes we faced in Vienna. Super grumpy unpleasant people no matter how friendly you are to them. We get along with anyone but my patience was tested in Vienna. Salzburg and the staff here turned it all around and we will happily come back to Salzburg. You will not go wrong with the NH hotels. The only downside, that may not be a downside for some, the beds are really hard in all NH hotels. We dont like them but the rest of the hotel is why we come back. Perhaps a pillow top menu would be a great option to provide? "

"What a great location!! Easy to walk to all the wonderful sites. Staff were very helpful, check in a breeze as was check out. Room was a great size. The room was very warm even though we turned the heat right down, was great that the window was able to be cracked open. Good gym with a lovely view. Would stay again"

"I absolutely loved the place. Please read and choose if that sounds right for you, because it is special. 1. Late arrival is served with easily accessible keys, and a lot of sms, so you can’t miss it, even if you want. No people to talk to (no offence)- you just enter like you enter your home. Silence and privacy. 2. Rooms aren’t big, but obviously planned by someone who thought about it. Comfy, I’ve got everything I need at my arm length. Puffy towels, coffee machine, wine glasses, heater. 2.1 god bless the person who covered all lights, including TV, with curtains 2.2 wending machine supplies wine, snacks. Overpriced? Perhaps. But it is here. You can literally go there in your pj. 2.3 working shower with proper water pressure. Yes, it’s small, but for those who have long hair: you will wash it nicely. 2.4 carpets made of zinovka: zero dust. Hello to those who has allergy to dust, like me. Perfect. 2.5 matraz : not soft, not hard. Comfy. Decent quality of pillows (theirs is choice: big and small), decent quality of bedsheets ( good thick cotton, comfy blanket. 2.6 it smells good! 2.7 good quality shampoo and shower gel It is quiet. Windows are opening, it’s warm or fresh as per your choice. "

"We reached the hotel well before our check in time but were able to get our room early. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything we had to see was walkable, including the train station, tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. I would recommend the hotel to any visitors to Salzburg."
