"This property is beautiful and well-maintained. Just lovely throughout, and the grounds are wonderful. We saw deer wander through, a resident peacock (but never heard him!), a gorgeous red-shouldered hawk all from our balcony. Each morning at 9:00 they leave a basket outside your door with a lovely breakfast - VERY nice! The only suggestions I might have would be replacing some of the antique/vintage furniture (Buena Vista Suite) with more practical/comfortable items. A nice ruby red love seat and two comfy armchairs would still fit the theme but offer some more comfort to guests. Overall, though, it was a wonderful time away. "

"The setting is pastoral and quiet. The unit is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is adequately stocked. If you enjoy small, local history museums, there are a number of fine ones in the vicinity. "

"Tracy and Taylor provided excellent service. They were so helpful and patient. The maintenance man was very nice as well. I always recommend Cary House to friends who are traveling in the area. I will continue to stay at Cary House whenever I am in Northern California. "
