"Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet, which took away the ambience and our ability to sit by the lake or use the tennis court. However the indoor spa and gym are ideal for the person wanting to relax or get some exercise, plus the indoor pool was close by. Recommend a visit but I expect that it is very busy in the warmer months given what it offers. 10/10"

"Linton Retreat and Spa was so peaceful and beautiful we spent a bit of time fantasising about moving to Linton. The cabin would be great for a small group and is perfect for a couple. The hot tub soothed away anxiety and replaced it with a relaxed well being. There were generous and high quality supplies - home made bread, jam, plenty of milk, cereal, butter and so on. "This is a really beautiful property with incredible views and very quiet bit it’s not easy to get to with 17 steps to follow. So make sure you get there in the light. You also can’t drive directly to the house you have to put your bags in a cart and pull it the last 80 metres. We didn’t realise this and turned up in the dark after a very big day. Also for some reason we couldn’t get the directions either. Fortunately we had someone to call who could get all the details to us and we could get in....
