"We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking. There was a bracket on the wall where the tv once was and the electric wires sticking out of the wall where the shower once...

Con: - Blinds are only one layer messing you can't open it without people seeing into your room. - Upon check in, we were approached right away about booking a show. "I recently stayed here for 3 nights and it is a lovely hotel. It’s conveniently located so the main city centre is quite close to walk to, but far enough that it’s quiet in the area. The room is finished to a high standard and is very nice and clean. The hotel staff were very hospitable and sorted out a couple of minor issues we had. The breakfast is also superb! I rarely find breakfast worth adding to a booking, but it’s great here. They have a good selection of local and western dishes. It’s incredibly great value and we enjoyed our stay here. The only minor thing is that we occasionally got woken up by a local rooster, but that isn’t exclusive to this hotel. There seems to be a lot of them around Siem Reap. I would definitely stay here again."
