"The hotel is located up in the hill near the palace. Many things in Potsdam city is located far from the central station, and this hotel was the same. So we took a taxi to get there, but we figured how to get around with public transportation next day and it was easy. "We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dorint. The room was big and the facilities were excellent. We didn't use the spa or sauna but they are available for a fee. Reception was very friendly and offered plenty or tourist advice. Onsite parking is available for a fee. For longer stays, if you forfeit room cleaning, they offer a bar drink voucher as a reward. Town centre or Sanssouci palace each about 15 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast was the best we have had."
