The darkening shade would not go up or down. We were on the 2nd floor so not a big problem. The first morning my husband tried making a cup of coffee but the keurig wouldn't make coffee. The breakfast was fantastic! A great selection of good food.

We often stay in Holiday Inn Express hotels. This one is not as nice compared to most HIE’s. The B’fast was not nearly as nice with few choices. The towels were not of good quality. The desk attendant at check in was not friendly.

Perfect!
We stayed here 1 night while passing through Perryville on our way to Iowa. We checked in late (8:00PM) and were so happy to take nice hot showers. We LOVED the shower and Dove products they supplied. The beds were comfortable. The room and entire property were very clean. Breakfast in the morning was great- large variety of hot and cold items and everything was tasty. The only issue which was minor was that we forgot our toothbrushes and the sign said we could get some at the front desk but the front desk didn't have any.

I’ve stayed at the Auburn multiple times over the last 8 years. This year was the year I will not return. I booked 3 rooms. -rooms were not ready on time -front staff were very nice however additional staff encounters were not professional -one room did NOT lock, front desk was notified and we were told to slam the door and see if it locks, it did not, completely unacceptable. Nothing was done and a different locking room was not offered -pool was COLD, so cold kids did NOT swim. The Auburns pool and set up is a major perk of staying there, not acceptable -2 rooms tvs did not work. One rooms remote did not work -employees used entrance F old garbage dumpster area as a smoke break room, felt very uncomfortable passing employees constantly going out there to smoke -the entrance F outside door was NOT locked, anyone, could come and go in entrance F. Entrance F goes directly to the pool area where kids swim, major safety concerns on this -a minor thing was breakfast, waffle maker was working but when asked where the syrup for the waffles were we were told they were out. Overall a complete disappointment for the Auburn. As someone who has been coming to the Auburn for MANY years this year and the overall experience has left me and my family to decide not to return. Safety issues being the main concern, we didn’t feel safe. Sad day for the end of Auburn stays with my family.
