Max Glamping Dupont! Bring your Bike!

The newest addition to our campground, this private "glampsite" takes glamp to a new level! Queen size memory foam bed, well equipped kitchenette (including frig, microwave, infrared cooktop, sink and a nice bar), cozy living area with wi-fi streaming tv; all these amenities and more make this the place to be before and after a hike or bike ride in nearby (3 miles) Dupont State Forest. This is a beautiful little room for your rest and relaxation. Step out onto the covered patio area and look down over the garden toward the creek and the mountains beyond. Throw a burger or a steak on the provided gas grill! No longer does the "Hidden Treasure" share shower and porta-jon with the campground! Now fully self-contained with an addition including Separett composting toilet and re-tiled shower! We have done all we know to make this a comfortable and memorable stay for you. Every bit of our cozy bungalow is constructed from recycled, reclaimed and repurposed materials, and hand-made into a home-away-from-home just for you!

A Cozy Cottage in a Great Location
The Hidden Treasure cottage was perfect for us. It's a quirky gem on an unusual property but has everything one needs. It has been thoughtfully appointed with the necessities and was perfectly clean. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the creek. We enjoyed it, and the beautiful area, so much we've already booked our next stay.

Cozy cabin with a great location!

A wonderful Retreat
I spent almost my entire 3 days in this lovely cabin in the mountains. On the 3rd day I was able to spend hours hiking through the DuPont national Forest! The visitors center was only 8 minutes from the cabin and the memories of the entire stay are truly priceless and forever! Thank you. I hope to return again some day. Michael

A great little spot near all the action. We enjoyed our stay in Penrose being so close to the DuPont State Forest. Was nice to have all the extra amenities at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Perfect!
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It’s even cuter in person than it is online. It’s in a perfect location for nearby hikes and exploring downtown Brevard. The property manager provided great communication and made check-in easy. A very comfy, cozy cabin at a really reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to stay!
This little spot was absolutely perfect! The outdoor bathroom, aka port-a-potty, was not an inconvenience at all. In fact, i rather enjoyed staying in a place so small and allowing my husband his 25 minute bathroom break without running me out of the place!! The attached shower was awesome too, much better than any campground we have been to. The seclusion the place offered was wonderful. Would most certainly be back!!!

Super Glamping
The only thing that makes this qualify as glamping is the bathroom being outside, otherwise this is a great comfortable and clean studio apartment where you can cook your meals and relax after a days outdoors adventures, it’s centrally located to all the best trails around, quiet and they haven’t priced themselves out of reach like many other ab&b have. I’ve stayed here several times and is the place I look for when visiting.

Great place for a respite
We were looking for anplace to unwind and relax after a day of motorcycle riding. The place was very neat and clean. It has all the amenities you need for a short stay. Refrigerator, microwave, and hot plate. The attached community shower was clean as was the porta toilet. Great price for a great place. If there was any drawback it would be that it is right off the road but that didn't bother us.

private and quaint bungalow
This bungalow was everything we needed! It was cozy, cute and comfortable. The only complaint I have is there was a lot of black ants, and at one point I might have bitten. However, that’s expected when out by woods. It was still very clean, and homey. Thank you for renting this bungalow out!

Perfect location
This is my go to place to stay when visiting the area, I can throw a rock at DuPont from here, right in between Kanuga and the Pisgah trails, 15 min either way. It’s cozy, clean comfortable and I can easily cook my meals, specially with a grill outside to cook some steaks. You never see the host, you have total privacy, unless you need to see the host, they’re there in 20 seconds when you need to jump start your car when the battery dies ;) I have stayed here several times and will again.

Glamping
The little red cabin was cute inside and had a little refrigerator, stove, and sink with dishes and cookware. It is very close to DuPont State Park and some beautiful hiking there - so best reason to stay - close to nature and some restaurants about 20 minutes away, otherwise need to bring your own food. Towels provided, and apparently if you are a mountain biker - some really great trails nearby as well that is shared with hikers. Bring your sound machine if you are a light sleeper as it is right next to the road. I had mine, so I was okay. It was good for what I wanted - though a bit pricey once taxes, fees, etc... were added. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Reviews are right - everything you need, nothing you don't!
We really enjoyed our stay at the "Hidden Treasure" glamping site. It is ingenious how this cute little spot evolved over time. The foam bed was super comfy and the fridge, microwave, etc. were all the perfect size. We used it as our launching point to Dupont State Park to hike around all the waterfalls. Although the place was a little near to the country road there was absolutely NO noise inside the unit itself. It was a great value for the money and perfect for an impromptu weekend trip.
