"I give this place 3 stars, its a nice place with a good amount of room but there are a few issues. Our stay was Monday - Friday, just 2 adults. Pros - lots of room. Cons - no ac. There is a portable ac unit on wheels in the bedroom however, the exhaust vent goes behind a curtain to the window but not outside. There is no way to open the window for the exhaust vent to take the hot air outside so it just pumps all the hot air back into the room. Be prepared to wake up at 7:30am every morning...

"Home was lovely, just what I was looking for. Unfortunately the lake was dry which would have been nice to know prior to arrival."

"Everything was great, a few suggestions, maybe provide more towels, maybe some shelving in the bathrooms to put stuff on it was pretty sparse. Otherwise we enjoyed are stay and would come back again. Thank You"

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and had games to play if that's your sort of thing. Located right off of Main Street, Stoneham so made getting around super easy. Restaurants and convenience store within walking distance. The host was super attentive and always responded quickly to our questions. Would surely recommend to others."

"We had a great time at this property. It is very nice, beautifully set up. There was plenty of space for us: three adults, a five year old, a 10-month old, and our 14lb dog. Communication with the owner/manager was excellent. He was very responsive and helpful! "

"Nice I like and can back "

"We were visiting for Thanksgiving and needed a place for our family to stay. It was a perfect spot for my family to unwind after visiting relatives and the craziness of the Holiday. Kitchen is amazing and had everything we needed to make pies for Thanksgiving! The beds were comfortable and the couches are great for snuggling and watching movies with the kids. We didn't use the yard as it was too cold but it looked great."

"The condo is in a perfect spot. We were able to take day trips to Salem, Gloucester, Boston and New Hampshire and Maine. Very quiet neighborhood and very nice unit. The place could use a few more pictures or something to help the accustics in the living room. It's just very empty, not very homey. I'd also like to see a railing on the front entrance. The steps are kind of steep, and I worried about falling. However, overall it was a great place. I'd highly recommend this place. "

"I live in Florida and came back to MA to see family. My sister lives in Lowell and highly recommended Carlisle. It was tricky finding the driveway but the owner sent me an aerial view which was perfect. It was just me and this studio totally met my needs. There’s a market 2 doors up. Perfect. I would stay again. The owners were GREAT communicators!! "

"Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible. We all wished we could have stayed much longer and would book again in a heartbeat if we’re ever back in the area."

Overall good stay

"The stay room and restaurant was fabulous. The hot tub was kind of cold, so were parts of the hotel, even with the fireplace and heat up in my room it, the cold air came right kn through the windows. Nothing major. It would have been nice to have a robe that the hotel provides and keeps, and the tv was in an awkard place so it was hard to see it at all. But those are little things. "
