The remodel is visually pleasing—but thats where it ends. No room keys, no phones in the rooms and most obscene is NO WORKING A/C!! It was 113 degrees and I have never stayed in Palm Springs where a) a/c is sternly set to 72 degrees b) does not work and just “fans” this is truly unforgivable. The pool was the only place to get relief—but sparkling it was not—it was cloudy and dirty looking and the towels were no where to be found—had to use room towels that were stained—literally looked like someone used them as toilet paper. Not allowing guests to set the AC to a temperature of their choice is horrible, but the unit not even working is really poor and I cant believe more people have not complained—we almost just went and stayed somewhere else.

Where do I begin!? I loved my room, with modern minimalist decor, powerful AC, and a comfy bed! The property was very quiet and I got great rest. Loved strolling through the renovated patio and lobby every day, and the view from the pool area kept me occupied for hours. Despite the heat I even enjoyed the hot tub! Staff was very friendly! Always greeting me and gave great recommendations. They were very accommodating when I registered another guest and housekeeping did a speedy yet thorough job! Outside the hotel is a very well lit and even pretty parking lot! One could have a view of their car from their room if they needed and it wouldn’t be a bad view at all. I felt very safe. Across the lot is Robot Pig—one of the best restaurants in town! Don’t fall asleep after arriving to make sure you get a chance to try! If you miss out, no worries! Downtown is a short walk away—one and a half blocks! There’s even a grocery store across the street—great for car-less travelers like myself. You can’t go wrong staying here!

This is our new go to hotel!!! Village Fest is two blocks over so you can just walk over and enjoy yourself without worrying where to park. The Art museum is near too. They are very friendly here and the rooms are super comfy... Our tv stopped working and they came and fixed it immediately. It went out again but it was time to sleep so we didn't worry about it... We love this place!!

This property was great! It has been fully renovated & was done extremely well. The room felt like a boutique hotel. Check in was super easy & quick. No key cards - you just get a code to get into your room, which i liked. Location wise - it’s steps a way from the main bars of Palm Springs & also downtown shops. I really enjoyed staying here & would stay here again. Only minor thing I’d mention is the pool could have been a little bit cleaner, but not a deal breaker & pool wasn’t gross by any means just a bit murky from sunscreen. Highly recommend The Dunes!
