Peaceful Retreat
The Casita was wonderful,. It was very quiet. The hosts were responsive and respectful of our privacy. The snacks and coffee they had for us were very well received. The TV channels were extensive and the AC was more than adequate. Unfortunately, of a few little items that need attention: the shower door needing replacement stood out. The hosts are so nice. I wouldn’t let the small things get in the way of my recommendation.

Lovely, private, perfect getaway.
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely casita. Steve and Karen were great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed, then left the entire backyard for us to enjoy. The hot tub is perfect, and we loved listening to the birds. We hope to be back!

Great stay in Palm Desert
The location of this Casita is great. The home is in a quiet neighbourhood but with quick access to downtown and other areas, with grocery and other facilities nearby. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The Casita is in the backyard but it felt very private and we had exclusive access to the yard. The Casita is great for a couple. It does not have much of a kitchen (refridgerator and microwave in the bathroom) but you have access to the outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ, counter, sink, dining table, etc. This place was very nice for a one week stay.

Great place to relax
We stayed here for a few nights on the way home to Colorado from the coast. We were really happy with the casita and Steve was a great host. Everything was very clean and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. It’s a pleasant walk downtown. We plan to make this a regular stop from now on.

Nice stay. Steve and Karen were great. Room well equipped even had snacks. Comfortable bed. Loved the jacuzzi!! Beautiful setting outside with bbq and lots of lounge areas. Love the birdies and fresh lemons. ❤️

Amazing Hosts and Location
My girlfriend and I were in town and enjoyed our stay in the clean roomy space to rest and a beautiful yard to cook daily. The communication from the booking process through our stay was great and easy to contact the hosts. They really thought of everything to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Great stay in Palm Desert
I’ve stayed at Steve and Karen’s casita twice, it’s a lovely space perfect for two people. Quiet neighborhood located close to shopping, restaurants and things to do. Their backyard is beautiful, pool and hot tub well maintained, a great space to spend time outside. Steve and Karen are great hosts, communicative and provide support to enjoy your stay.

Perfect!
We loved staying at the casita! It had everything we needed. Steve has truly thought of everything. He was great, recommending hikes and outings. He even suggested tours of two places where he is a docent. We had such a great time at both! The area is quiet and peaceful, but close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the backyard amenities. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Steve , our host, was very responsive to every inquiry. The casita was spotless, well stocked, and larger than the photos suggest! Overall, I don’t think the pictures do justice to the property!!

Palm Desert Getaway
We couldn’t be more pleased. The accommodations are truly a cozy casita, and having access to the beautiful back yard makes it a great set up. We loved the neighborhood, central location, and easy access to El Paseo for shopping and dining. Our hosts were terrific, and have put a lot of attention into stocking the casita with amenities. A great stay!

Truly a Cozy Casita!
Great property and hosts! We were in Palm Desert for a week. The Casita was as pictured, immaculate and well stocked for all our needs. Great location in a safe quiet neighborhood. We would happily stay there again!

Indeed. A cozy casita!
This is a small casita situated in the rear yard of the owners main house. It’s right beside the pool and hot tub as the pictures suggest. Don’t let the fact that the property is in the owners backyard turn you off. The owners (Steven and Karen) allow exclusive use of the entire backyard water facilities as well as the BBQ and seating for their guests. Certainty not a large casita but great for a couple. One item to note is that there is not much of a kitchen area at all. A coffee machine, fridge and microwave provided in various spots throughout the casita is about all you have. Suggest you use the outdoor BBQ and table/chairs provided for ”home cooked” meals. It’s about a 20 or 25 minute walk north to the upscale El Paseo shopping area of Palm Desert. Steven even provided us a guided tour of the Living Desert Zoo also located in Palm Desert. Now that’s service!

Relaxing and quiet Casita
My husband and I needed a few days to get away after some trying times this past year. The casita is so cute! It’s colorful, clean, very comfortable & cozy. The beautiful outdoor setting with birds chirping in back yard was a peaceful place to have outdoor happy hour & sit by the pool. Plus, it was nice to have a soak in the hot tub in the evening. Also, very convenient location; close to restaurants, shopping, The Living Dessert and hiking trails. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable!

The casita is wonderful for a peaceful couple’s getaway! The pretty yard, the pool, and all the extras are fantastic. We highly recommend Happy Hour at Mamma Gina’s for an early dinner, also takeout from The Real Italian Deli.

Perfect Casita
Everything was as advertised and pictured. Lovely private pool was the biggest selling point for me. Very cool neighborhood to walk around and look at houses. Everything you could want is a short drive away. It was easy to get to Palm Springs. Gracious hosts thought of every detail. Bed was comfortable (nice sheets!) I would definitely stay here again.
