The restaurant is gorgeous although the food was a bit of a hit and miss although has the potential to be something incredible. The staff were lovely and the rooms were gorgeous. Definitely recommend staying here and its perfect for families with young children. "

"Beautiful apartments tucked away just off the Esplanade, easy walk to shops and restaurants and easy 5min drive to Coles for supplies. Rooms were perfectly suited for 4 adults and 2 children family vacation. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Grounds were lovely and the pool was really great for the kids! Would definitely recommend!"

"The Reef Retreat setting is very nice and tranquil. The only drawback for us was our room was a top floor one. We had lots of suitcases due to our cruise before we disembarked in Cairns. The location is very good and close to many restaurants. The room was comfortably and had everything we needed."
