「Hawksmoor House ist ein klassisches, 300 Jahre altes Capholländisches Bauerngehöft. Wir waren zuerst im Herrenhaus untergebracht, dann in einem Nachbargebäude. Beide Zimmer waren ausserordentlich schön. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Zu bemängeln gab es nichts. Allerdings sollten Reisende wissen, dass die Anfahrt über einen unbefestigten Weg erfolgt. Wifi gibt es nur im Herrenhaus. Nach einer Corona-Pause könnte hie und da die Fassade frisch gestrichen werden. Aber dies sind wirklich winzige...

We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner 」

「While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...

「個人で滞在するのも、グループで滞在するのもロケーションは便利。ただ、夜の外出は7時を過ぎたあたりで人は歩かなくなるので、要注意。タクシーかレンタカーで外出しかない。入口には２４時間体制でガードマンがいるので安全。 中のスタッフは土日は休みの為、質問があっても週明けまで返答はない。レンタルサイクルはあるが、いわゆるビーチクルーザーなので、遠出向きではない。かごもないので、買い物は自前で運びやすい鞄を用意したほうが良い。町までは約１キ。ロ程度なので、散歩しながら行くのも気持ちいい」
