"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. "It’s a great quiet location. We liked it as it was central to visiting Normandy and the D day beaches . It’s close to bayeux if you need and supplies restaurants etc. The owners are right on site at the main house if you need anything. They did check in with us to make sure all was in order . "No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. This is basically a PGL style bunk house. Avoid at all costs."

"A great week spent at Claires quiet and tranquil village house. Ideally located for a visit to the WW2 historical sites. Deceptively spacious, clean and with secure off road parking. Local supermarket only 2km away at Cruelly. Proved to be ideal for us touring the area on motorcycles. A little investment in some comfortable furniture would make it the perfect holiday spot. "The hotel is right in the centre of Caen, convenient location close to restaurants and bars. The room we had was quite small, but clean and comfortable. There is parking under the hotel so very convenient but its expensive, the spaces are small and we couldn't open the car boot fully with the low ceiling in parts of the car park. "
