Even though he had just finished a night shift he volunteered to help us get into the public car park (we had arrived in a terrible storm and parked in the wrong one). "This is a lovely house in a beautiful walled village. The owner met us at the house and even took the time to give us a tour of his wine cellar on our first night. It was a great location for visiting the Rioja region with many places to visit nearby. The house was perfect for three families sharing with teenagers. There were two bars in the village."

"The location is very convenient, and we appreciate having covered parking available, with lift directly to room floors. We also appreciate the pet-friendliness. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a convenient mini-kitchen. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of fresh choices. Fantastic, historic building.

"Absolutely beautiful building. We enjoyed the ambience and swing-jazz music playing softly in the glass-ceilinged courtyard. We appreciated having two armchairs and a coffee table. It is a shame that the housekeeping team were unable to remove or mask the unpleasant smell in our room. It seemed to come from the basin in the bathroom but permeated into the bedroom. "
