I'm not recommending this place. Showed up at the front desk, the owner had forgotten to register us that resulted in a long wait. Condo was clean, but with an atrocious chemical smell, most likely due to the cleaning product they used. Wifi was not working (technical issues), I which resulted in no access to any television channels. Owner was responsive but didn't take any responsibility for what went wrong. I was there for only one night, and It was more than enough. Never again.

Great location
We stayed here for daughter’s competition, and it was a great location to Disney and universal. The condo was spacious and the view of the pool and lake was nice. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Exactly as advertised
The property was as advertised and fit our 1 night stay perfect. The price was the selling point for us. This isnt a huge super swanky place, but nicer than a hotel, better space, and perfectly priced. If you need a landing spot while in the area, this is perfect for you.

Great location and place
Our stay for four nights in March was enjoyable. Minor complaint was the lack of additional blankets for bedding as the temps were on the cooler side. Other than that this was a great space with good amenities and a spectacular view. The check in process was seamless and the pool was excellent. Nearby shops and restaurants were convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!
We couldn’t have asked for more for such an affordable price. This place is prettier than the pictures convey. The view of the lake from the balcony was awesome, especially during the sunrise. The pool downstairs has a small bar and grill where we hung out for hours in the afternoon. The apartment was clean and spacious for our family of four. And it only took 10 minutes to drive to Disney Hollywood Studios. Our stay surpassed our expectations.

Great location
This property is excellently located, with easy access to the interstate, Disney and Universal Studios. The night manager, Eric, was great respecting our late check-in. The downsides to this property were it’s cleanliness (the floors hadn’t been washed, with spill marks and food on the floor in the dining area), counters not thoroughly wiped and a random baby bottle left behind on the floor. We brought this to the owners attention, but no remedial action was taken because the cleaning staff said they didn’t have our permission to enter the unit because we were gone during the day. Disappointed no discount was offered by the hosts to compensate for this.

It’s as listed. No extra frills or things to make you feel welcomed. Elevators were slow. Place was decently clean but there was peanut butter and jelly on the cabinet and small ants on and around the stove. Ants would come out when making coffee. We didn’t use kitchen besides making coffee and filling water bottles. Base boards need to be cleaned. King bed was comfy and we slept well. Felt very safe. We have stayed in many vrbo’s this past year so we are familiar with the offerings. The view was beautiful and the pool was great. We would stay here again. Recommend hosts provide some personal touches. No guest book or local information. Hosts did not have any involvement.

The location is the best thing about this resort. It's not far from the airport, around lots of restaurants, and shops.There are no extra "things", like a welcome sign or information about checking in/out, that other VRBO's we've booked at have. Communication with the host was horrible. I contacted the host the day after we arrived due to the ceiling fan in the living room not working. He said he'd get someone sent up to take a look at it. Over 24 hrs passed and I reached out once again asking when the fan could be fixed. Zero reply back and we stayed five nights. Florida is hot and not having a working celing fan in the main area is inconvenient, especially when it comes to needing it to sleep. Also, the balcony light did not work. The only thing that made this 3 stars worthy is the location and swing on the balcony.

Excellent resort, location, cleanliness
This place was perfect for our 4 night stay in Orlando to take our kids to Disney. When we checked in (a little early around 3:40pm) we got to the room and it wasn’t cleaned yet. Not the hosts fault, there was a miscommunication between the front desk and the cleaners, we left to get some groceries and by the time we came back it had been cleaned, very minor inconvenience. The balcony with the view of the lake and pool was amazing. The pool was great for the kids and the tiki bar was open everyday until 11pm service food and drinks, we had supper around the pool and food was good, they also make a great Pina colada. Only complain about the pool was the music, it was 4 days of nonstop 80’s music, wasn’t bad the first day but would be nice to have a little variety. Drive to Disney was only 15 minutes, my kids didn’t make it to the fireworks at 9pm but we watched them from the front hallway just outside the room and had a great view of them. Would absolutely recommend this place for a family of 4 or less with young kids. We had a great time.

Wow! Amazing view! Great location!
We had such a lovely stay! This rental is so close to all the attractions! We went to Universal, Disney, Kennedy Space, and to airboat rides! The airboat was our all time favorite. We went to Kissimmee Swamp Tours. Only an hour away we felt like we were deep in the Everglades swamp but not half that drive! Lots of alligators and birds everywhere this time of year and so fun! We also visited Lori Wilson park part of Cocoa Beach and loved it. We loved the condo, too! It was just enough room to relax at the end of the day. We walked the boardwalks and swam in the pool and watched Disney fireworks out our front door! The view over the lake is gorgeous with amazing sunrise views! I would only make one improvement, please add more to the kitchen supplies. The place could really use more dishes and a few more dishwasher pods, dish soap like the hand wash kind, salt pepper and a few spices, a heavy cookie sheet and a second set of dishes. We loved it and we hope to come back!

Disapointed
We stayed at the Blue Herron for 8 nights in December 2014. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing and the location was perfect for getting back and forth to the Disney area.(We were there for a week long football tournament and made many trips back and forth to the ESPN complex) The floor plan worked great for us with our 1 child, but the main reason we booked a condo was to have the ability to cook and eat in a few meals. The kitchen was not very well equipped even for preparing simple meals, no storage containers for leftovers, minimal utensils (we bought and left a carrot peeler for future guests) and the unit did not have vacuum or even a broom to keep the floors clean. Overall for the price the unit worked great, but I would recommend the owner add a few things to better equip the kitchen.
