Our stay had highs and lows, but overall, we left disappointed due to transparency issues and operational problems. The “free complimentary gift” offered at check-in was actually a 3-hour high-pressure real estate sales pitch. Presented as part of the resort experience, it disrupted our plans for the final day of the year and frustrated our kids (12 and 15). The water park is fine for kids under 12 but lacks options for older ones. My 12- and 15-year-olds were bored and unimpressed. We also had to evacuate the building due to a leak, with no staff guidance until fire officers arrived. On the plus side, our room was spacious and fit seven comfortably. However, loose, noisy floor plates were a downside. Many activities require extra payment, and the online pictures are misleading. If you need just a place to sleep, this might work. For a seamless resort experience, though, families with older kids should think twice. Transparency and management improvements are needed.

The rooms were not cleaned everyday. The pool near us was closed and we were not close to anything that the resort included. We sometimes couldn't find any parking even though we had to pay about $27 a day for it. The resort fees were $50 a day and, as I stated, we barely had access to any of the amenities. They didn't explain how to use the shuttle that is supposed to be free so we didn't get a reservation in time and had to pay for parking at Disney anyway. Horrible experience.

Front desk staff was not very professional at times. Early on our final morning we were jolted out of bed by the fire alarm and had to evaluate the building in freezing waether. No one announced that it was clear to go back, no one came to explain to all of ud what was happening or to apologize. No explanation. I had to walk to the front desk to ask if we could go back up. They were very casual anout the whole thing. Then sent us a text about an hour after. Then came to knock on the door after 9am when check out was at 10. ( No one cared that we had lost sleep). Very low grade for a holiday inn.

Be prepared to wait hours at checkin to be told your room is not ready then have to wait in a long line again to get your keys. The water park is not heated. Fire alarms going off and not a staff member to be found to direct anyone. We also had the added touch of a tooth left on the nightstand.

The Holiday Inn gave away our room at midnight (even though the week was paid in full well in advance), and indicated that it was their policy. We arrived at the hotel just after midnight, and it took us two hours to get a room. Please keep in mind we are traveling with children as young as six. When we finally got a room, I'm convinced it was the worst room on the complex. The bathroom door didn't close (pocket door without a lock that didn't stay remotely closed due to it not being installed level). The shower was a standup shower with no barrier to stop the water from flooding the bathroom floor. Their was noticeable water damage in the bathroom because of this. The shower head was a wand installed in the center wall facing the wall in opening. Yes that's right,it guaranteed the water has zero chance of not going all over the floor. That must have explained the horrible water presser. Perhaps it was intended to persuade people not to use it. The stream of an enlarged prostate is stronger. On to the bedroom and kids sleeping area. The bedroom door didn't close (door frame is misaligned), and the kids don't have a door. The ladder for the bunk bed was against the wall, without enough room to use it. For some reason, the thermostat was set to 50'F. The room was an icebox. No extra blankets in the room. We were refunded $25 for the slight inconvenience, and offered $25 per day to stay in this substandard dwelling. We declined and demanded the room we paid for.

Staff did not bring towels and other stuff that was asked of them on time we had to wait sometime. They never even brought it up to our room. I explained that we have a big group and would often need extra towels yet or needs was never really met when they were met. We still had to call a second time to get a second round of towels because they would never bring enough to the room Construction was going on so our side of the building the swimming pool access and other stuff was shut down I was told I would get a $75 refund. It was never explained to me that I can only use it in the hotel. It was not going to be come back to my account That being said I spent money buying food when I could’ve used the $75 that they had for me when I went to check out, they explained to me I couldn’t get the $75 back because it does not go back into my account. It was supposed to be used for food at the hotel. No one explains this to me so I wasn’t too happy about that as well. The room smelled like an elderly home. Everything was just gloomy and dark, and the light fixtures wasn’t working properly. One of the bed. The mattress was sunk in and uncomfortable. I had to request a new mattress, so it was really hard for the bunch of us somebody really didn’t have anywhere to sleepand the bed mattress in the couch were full of spring poking you so we couldn’t pull out the mattress in the couch we had to sleep on the couch as it is, which was very hard. The couch felt like he was sleeping on rocks

Elevator on my side was down the entire time. The pool and hot tub was not in service. Very inconvenient
