We hit the jackpot with this property! It truly is an idyllic place, set up a windy road with amazing views over Omis. We spent many hours relaxing by (and in!) the pool or playing table tennis. We especially enjoyed the downstairs, outside kitchen and covered eating area (the downstairs kitchen is actually enclosed and very well equipped). Ante is an exceptional host, who really wanted us to enjoy our stay (which we certainly did!), through the week he gave us various delicious goodies, he was always available to answer questions, but though he and his family live next door, they really gave us privacy.
There is such an attention to detail with the extras that make it feel home from home (eg tea towels, ice cube trays, pegs for the washing line etc!) and the house and grounds are all immaculate.
There are two totally separate apartments, one on the top floor, with two big bedrooms and a bathroom, then one on the first floor with two bedrooms and a kitchen (which we tended to use for breakfast) and a bathroom. So it would work for two families or, as we had it, one apartment for our teenagers and one for us!). Then below these are the outside kitchen and outside and inside eating areas. There is also a BBQ, again with all the equipment you would need. Last, but certainly not least is the pool area with plenty of sun loungers and a lovely shaded seating area, a sturdy table tennis table set amongst olive trees, all with a stunning view.
Omis is a cute town with plenty of restaurants in the old town. There are loads of beaches within a short drive (we'd recommend water shoes as all beaches are gravel/pebbles of one size or other!). The nearby Cetina river is stunning and we enjoyed a rafting trip and the zipline.
All in all, we had a wonderful time at Old Stone House Lelas and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, it really is a special place with a special host.
