Host acts sweet then tries to rip you off
We showed up on time & host was still cleaning &remained there for an hour.We were polite & didn't complain.It's listed as no pets,but dog poop was on patio & house reeked of pets/pet urine.The dogs were also there.Comforters & pillows smelled like other people. Dishwasher was acting a little strange,but worked.The morning we were to leave the DW stopped working and water started coming up & over the sink.It was also dripping downstairs.I immediately informed the host upon checkout.She was grateful & thanked me & acted like all was fine.A week later I asked where our deposit was.No response.Two days later I receive a bill taking my deposit plus trying to charge me thousands more.She says a plumber came out to find the sink/disposal clogged & full of grease/food.We never dispose of grease in sink/disposal.Of course,a plumber is going to find loads of garbage/grease as an accumulation over time & multiple people.The backup was waiting to happen to someone.There is no way she can pinpoint that scenario on us.We were caring enough to report the problem,& she wants to blame and charge us for it & her floors.She also tried to charge us for saran wrap she claims was removed from one window.The only window opened (no wrap was on it) was the one in the kitchen bc it smelled so bad in there from the obvious pets.We were also charged for trash.The kids forgot to take the trash to the curb that was in the garage.An oversight.Can inside had trash bc no more bags. P.S. Scalding hot water!
