It was pouring in Tokyo today and we had checked out not only did they store our bags so we could do a last minute visit in Tokyo they lent us umbrellas which was super helpful with 2 young kids. The rooms feel a little simple but the buffet breakfast and the ladies retreat with free massage chairs and shampoo bar were lovely little touches. Its also less than a 5 min walk from the station the helpful staff and extras...

"electronic door lock jammed while we were inside the room. no phone in room so couldn't call hotel staff. luckily managed contact with expedia via web chat n they called hotel to get us out n changed room. very rare case but would feel more safe if people inside room can reach staff via landline phone or message system, just in case."

"Very spacious room. Hotel is clean and well kept. BONUS, you have a view of Mt. Fuji from your Balcony. The shops around the area are pricy but a 5 min walk will get you to the more affordable shops. Its close to the train station, I suggest using the overpass as it connects to everything. Tachikawa is underrated location, Its location is central to Tokyo and Day trip areas. "
