「Beautiful view and peaceful. Right up until the kids came to play in the creek and were just noisy and had country music blaring the entire afternoon. Same thing the next day without the music. When they weren’t present we had a very peaceful time so thank you! I wasn’t expecting people on both sides of us, so it was a bit of an adjustment. We deal with so many people everyday and we try to hide out when on vacation. I think it’s better to know ahead of time.」

「I have to say I do a lot of cabin rentals, and this was definitely one of the cleanest and very comfortable had all of the things you could possibly need, including a hairdryer lol. The only small complaint would be the Internet connection which interrupts everything from phone calls to movie streaming, but that was a given and already specified by the owner before renting the property. 「This place is a little slice of heaven. If you love nature and want to be removed from the world this is your place. Yet very close to all conveniences you would need. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The creek is so beautiful and if you know what to do you can float down to town if you have an extra car with you to leave at the bottom. 「Beautiful property. New sheets were on the loft bed and they had not been washed prior. They were stiff as a board and very uncomfortable. The staff needs to know that you always wash new bedding before you make the bed. The information on how to use the TV was very generic and was of no help to get the local stations. I'm older and the streaming services are not part of my world.」

「The cabin was very cute. The sitting areas is small, not enough room for 5 people to sit in the living room or at the table. Cabin was beautiful as was the view of the creek. Nearest cabin could not be seen since there are trees in between. Creek was too swift to wade in and fish at this location. Cabin is close enough to creek to sleep with windows open and listen to the water rushing during the night.」

「We went to celebrate our 30th anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a better place! The cabin was extremely clean, homey, & had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable & fun! The hot tub was very nice to use when it got cooler in the evenings. The downstairs bed was super soft. The screened porch made it possible to lay in bed & listen to the water in the creek. It was perfect for our relaxing weekend away! We will definitely be back!」

「The accommodations were great (other than a few dead insects that were on the floor that had not been swept up). The downside is that the creek is across the road. Mind you, we knew that when we booked the rental. It was a lovely and peaceful place (reminded me of Land Between the Lakes), and a short distance drive into Blue Ridge to pick up groceries and visit Mercier Orchards.」
