"My husband and I came to Monterey for a little weekend getaway. We were so excited to stay beach front. The beach is on the other side of the sanctuary resort and over the hill. It’s super close to the beach, but not beach front. But great price for great location. Especially since the sanctuary goes for $650 a night. "Enjoyed our stay. The balcony came with a view. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the sliding door to the bathroom. It would make a very loud sound when we opened it all the way. It would disrupt my sleep. Other than that everything was great. Breakfast was good. The air conditioner/heater worked. The water pressure was adjustable for the shower. The fridge was cold. You get the point =]"

"Quick checkin. Clean. Quiet during our stay. The bed was comfortable (for me). The only downside was the shower did not fully engage so the tub filled with water (ankles deep) but overall a lovely experience. Dining is within walking distance (a quick drive). "
