Also, we love that it was pet friendly but under the bed there was a lot of animal hair. Nice surrounding area, beautiful to walk around and a cute little town. We would definitely stay here again. "I did read mixed reviews on this property - however, if you are properly aware before you book, you will enjoy it. The gasthaus is separate from the pretty building with the restaurant in it. (About 200 yards downhill). You can park at no charge up behind the restaurant but then it is a hike to where your room is. We found it easier to pay for parking overnight in the public lot immediately across from the gasthaus. Very short walk. We ate dinner in the restaurant in the larger room at the...

"Wonderful and comfortable stay with warm and inviting staff. Breakfast was great and cakes/desserts were delicious. Centrally located in the beautiful town of Triberg. Unforgettable experience in the Black Forest with wonderful traditional Cuckoo Clock shopping."

"The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. The staff are just amazing. So sweet, friendly, and helpful. They lay out quite a spread for breakfast amd have excellent meal choices for dinner as well. Great food and service."

"Very safe as use a key card for the lift and main entrance after 10pm. Staff were wonderful and so friendly. Room immaculate and beds comfy. Beautiful views over the hills. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs made on request and everything you could wish for at the buffet. Lovely and quiet. Would recommend."
