"We had previously written Memmingen off as a purely transit town - handy for the nearby airport and nothing else. This was based on the less-than-inspiring train station and it’s immediate vicinity. However, on this visit we were pleasantly surprised to discover a remarkable ’old town’ district a short walk away. "The farmhouse was wonderful! Peaceful, beautiful, and very comfortable. Angelica and her husband were delightful!! We would come again to stay for a week and relax!! It is very helpful to have your own car. You will be able to see so much more there locally. But, there is a bus stop not far away you can walk to and get to the train station. There are local car rental places you could use during your stay. This is a wonderful place to stay!"

"Our stay in Ottobeuren at the Villa Kuntabund way wonderful. The landlords were very nice and cool. The apartment was very big! Everything was very very clean! It was very quiet and we slept really well. In the morning you could hear the churchbells. A short walk takes you through the woods and into town center. There you will enjoy the best ice cream of your life a Pedro’s Ice Cream. We will be back loved our stay."

"This house is excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. The table tennis table and rabbits were particularly enjoyable for the children. The house was very clean and very well equipped indeed. The host spoke excellent English, and was very helpful. Munich is about an hour away by car, and Augsburg is just 30 minutes. We would strongly recommend this as a base to visit the surrounding region."
