This home is conveniently located near Oakland Airport, close to the 880 and 580 freeways, which provide access to Downtown Oakland in less than 20 minutes and to San Francisco in under 30 minutes. The cottage is very close to public transportation, including BART, the BART Airport Shuttle, and an AMTRAK transfer station—all less than five minutes away by car. AC Transit is just four blocks away, and the airport is within four miles. BART can take you to San Francisco in 21 minutes, and the Coliseum BART station is just half a mile away (about a 9-minute walk).
The cottage is situated in a culturally diverse neighborhood primarily consisting of single-family homes in eastern Oakland. It is near various hospitals, including Highland and Kaiser, as well as San Leandro, Alameda Hospital, and others.
For outdoor activities such as walking, biking, running, or birdwatching and picnicking, the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline is one of the best and closest options, just 3 miles away. For entertainment and sports, the Oracle Arena and Coliseum are within a walkable mile.
