"The Crooked Cottage was perfect for what we were looking for - a cozy, remote place for a relaxing long weekend. It was stocked with everything we needed, and the host was very responsive for any questions. The cabin was very unique, with vintage decor and the perfect “home away from home vibe”. The fireplace was perfect for the cold, and there was hot chocolate, coffee, and tea if we wanted a hot drink. Definitely a hidden gem! "

"Quiet little cabin close to the water. Bit of a hike up the hill to get to the car, but great cardio! Owner Denise drove our bags down in the side by side, even offered to take back up when we were done! She was quick to respond to the few problems we had that were eas to resolve. 20 inute drive to Fort Francis if you need to pick anything up. For sure want to come back!"

"My friend and I stayed in one of the tiny cabins this past summer and it was such a cozy stay! They have a little farm on site, which was fun to go look at. It’s a 3-5 minute walk down a trail to the lake, where you can go for a swim, a kayak ride (they had some to use), or float around on floaties for the afternoon. The bathroom house was really clean and lovely to use. The communal fire pit area is beautiful as well. 10/10 stay and will be booking for next summer as well! "
