"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...

"This space was perfect for visiting Stowe in the fall! The property is fantastic, there is so much to do you'd never have to leave. You are very close to Stowe which has wonderful restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and more. We will definitely be coming back here again soon! Oh, and the view from this room was spectacular! "

There is limited access right behind the house where we were able to take pictures of the comet and gorgeous sunsets. There are many books to be read and a variety to choose from. "This location is great— if you’re staying for a hockey tourney I don’t think you can get closer to the rink. A little homier than the resort-owned units (we’ve stayed at Golf & Mountain and this is better)— this setup was great for our two boys, hubby and I, as well as my dad. "Very well located, great for people travelling with a pet, wonderful huge yard. However, the air conditioning is underwhelming, as it is merely a portable unit in the smaller bedroom. "

"We had an exceptional stay at The Stowe Village Inn. It is the perfect spot for a ski trip up to Stowe. It’s centrally located so you can easily walk to town or restaurants up the street, catch a shuttle to the mountain or drive anywhere within 10mins. All the staff were extremely nice and able to make any accommodations needed. Grants, the hotel restaurant, was some the best dinning we experienced in the area. Highly recommend! "
