"Our room, a junior suite was quite large and surgically clean. Bathroom was very modern, large and with great water pressure. Staff was great. My only caution would be to comment that this is not an air-conditioned hotel in the usual sense. There is a system which can be set to lower the temperature in the room slightly, but we found it ineffective. If you're not comfortable sleeping in a warm room, this hotel might best be considered only in the cooler months. "

"Good hotel overall. I did not find the stuff being too “welcoming “. Very convenient location. Almost next door to the main Zurich train station which made travel to other cities very easy. The room was small but that typical for an European hotels. One thing to be aware is that the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are facing a construction site. The start at 7 am. And some times the noises is substantial. The hidden gem of the hotel is the bar. There was always live music. "

"This was a self check in hotel so you would need to have mobile data and a charged phone all the time with you to get into your room and the hotel. It was so easy. The room was modern grand spacious. The heads were amazing as we overslept past our alarm to take our early train. I wish someone has told me to take the tram from the train stafion instead (buy ticket at the station) because we walked 15min. Single Traveller

"I stayed in a single room at the Bristol Hotel for 6 nights in April and would happily stay there again. The room was clean, serviced daily, had a kettle with tea/coffee/sugar available and I found the bed very comfortable. The room is compact but I was not in it most of the day so I had no need of a large amount of floorspace. There was a notice in the room indicating Swiss environmental guidelines restricts operation of air conditioning to within certain temperature parameters. This didn’t bother me as I left the window of the bathroom open a little overnight anyway to keep some fresh air circulating. The daily continental breakfast was tasty and filling and all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. "
