"It's a lovely setting, with just a short, very pretty walk to town. The home had lots of bedrooms to spread out and the kitchen was well appointed. "We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"We had a wonderful time in Chalet L’orbeye. We are a family of five with 3 teenagers so plenty of space. A week in August was not long enough! The views from the property are spectacular and we were able to hike & bike directly from the chalet. We regularly played paddle in St Bon and went to both Bozel and Le Praz lakes. We road cycled and hired bikes from Le Praz for mountain biking. We also managed a long walk from the Vanoise National Park. We were blessed with hot weather all week...

"My family of 9 (including 2 granddaughters aged 4 and 5 ) spent a fantastic week at this beautiful Chalet. The location was perfect, near the ski slopes of both Samoens and Morillon. The large local supermarket is a 3 minute drive away and has everything stocked that you could possibly need ( and at good prices) The house itself is massive with an en suite in every bedroom. "Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of comfortable seating. Lovely views from the balconies. Could have done with some more pillows for the beds. Short walk to village, quite steep, but fine if you take your time coming up. Village had a lovely atmosphere and there were different activities and nice places to eat. The baby stair gate was broken however it was not a problem as we kept the door shut to the bedrooms. There are several light bulbs which need replacing.
