"This accommodation was perfect for my partner and I who needed to be in Cheddar with our dog for a couple of nights. The accommodation was as pictured, the shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen had 2 electric hob rings/microwave and fridge. All the required utensils for simple cooking, tea, coffee and sugar . Logs for the wood burner were also provided."

"We booked this property for a few nights and received exceptional care from Mark the host who was warm, welcoming and accomodating with great suggestions of where we could visit nearby. The value for money is excellent as there are large rooms with all the comforts of a home. We will most definitely be staying here again within the next year and hope to exlpore more of the Cotswolds from this excellent, central location. "

"I wanted my son and his friend to experience the UK in ways besides the big city of London. I thought that they'd get a kick out of staying at a cottage built in 1750, and this place was a huge hit! My son especially liked having the back studio to himself. The stairs were concerning because of how steep they were, and how there was a step down right by the bathroom. This is expected in a place from that period, and there was plenty of discussion in the comments, so we knew what we were getting...

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Recommend the property unreservedly but suggest you book directly through cottages.com as that is where Vrbo will throw you anyway. The Vrbo system was a massive let down and caused a great deal of stress with confirmation of the booking. Give them a wide berth but enjoy thi ssuper property if you can."

"Generally a good stay - the apartment is a good size and very comfortable! Lots of good amenities within a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Only down side is that the corridors and doors are noisy (You can hear people talking loudly in other apartments down the hall!) so bring ear plugs, and a street light was fixed directly outside the window, and the apartment didn't have blackout blinds so the room was light all night."
