"Spent 4 nights and was very satisfied with my stay. The breakfast and dinners were buffet style in a large cafeteria, with a very nice selection of different options each day. The semi-enclosed hot bath (gender segregated) was nice, though the view is restricted only to the very top of the tree line. Loved our stay! Hope to go back again someday

"I loved this hotel! I tried to book an additional night we enjoyed it so much but they were fully booked. Room is spacious for a Japanese hotel in this price range. Easy to open and store my luggage in the seating area in our room, which isn’t common for a double twin room. We arrived early to go to the snow monkey park and the hotel stowed our luggage and had brought it up to our room by the time we came back to check in. Very thoughtful. Check in was easy for an English speaker like me. Room was lovely and clean. Provided lounge wear was so comfortable! Shower caulking was showing some mildew but I was using the onsen shower areas and never used the one if our room since I made full use of the onsen twice during our stay, and that was immaculate. Beautiful indoor and outdoor baths! Bring some change for the strawberry milk vending machine. Breakfast was fantastic. Delicious and great variety. Convenient location near the train station. Walkable to Zenkoji, which I enjoyed so I could explore the neighborhood, but was to catch the bus to the temple too. Have exact change for the bus!"
