He didn't speak much English but it was easy enough understanding what he was saying and he had signs in English as well to explain things. "Lovely Japanese couple owned. Great room size and has public onsen. Easy access to ski slope via bus stop near front door. Down sides were the age of amenities and distance from main town for shopping and nightlife i.e. buses stopped at 6pm so was a 30 min walk home."
