"I had to clean the room myself, and bedding were offered to be changed only once in the week. Water in the bathroom strangely stopped and led to usage of a bucket instead. Insects were found in the bathroom and the manager explained it was because he has put a pesticide, so it was normal. "Really enjoyed my 3 nights here and I found it very relaxing. Staff are great, really helpful and very friendly. The setting is great and people in the surrounding area are great. The lake is fascinating as are the salt harvesters. The only negative point (for me) is that had I been travelling with a partner I would have wanted slightly more privacy in the toilet! "I loved my stay at Hotel Boma. The staff is very helpful and introduced me to the best private tour guide. They have excellent food and activities to do at the hotel. The boutique at the hotel has beautiful clothes. Highlight of my trip was how safe and comfortable I felt at the hotel since I was traveling alone. "

"I truly enjoyed my stay at this establishment. The hotel had a very elegant, nice and local vibe, you could really feel inmersed in a cultural experience. At the same time, the price of the food was very affordable and awesome quality, the staff was friendly, approachable and extremelly polite and caring. It was still a laid back atmosphere, where you could feel at home, among the authenticity of Dakar. I would certainly recomend it! Bocoum from reception was so polite, helpful, nice and professional, and Alphonse was so caring and helpful as well."
