    Ireland Vacation
    Absolutely beautiful property tucked away from everything, yet it’s within a 30 minute drive from what one may need regarding grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It was also cozy and a central location which was great for us. Eva was always available for any questions we had. Great experience overall!

    Relaxing in Ireland
    In a very quiet and relaxing environment we stayed in Newtowncashel. We made trips from there to different sides of Ireland, like Dublin, Cliffs of Mohar and Galway. Within a two hours drive a lot of sightseeing can be done (although for Europeans is driving on the other side of the road challenging). The owner was very friendly and helpful which made our stay stay very pleasant.

    Out in the country away from the noise and busyness lies a piece of heaven. A beautiful house with all the amenities one might desire, comfortable beds, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and the stars are all alight from the back patio. We could not have chosen a better place to stay.

    Even if the weather was not very fine, we enjoied visit the county and appreciate the quiet area. For us, this place was a little bit too isolated and far away from the pubs and accomodations.

    Quiet Country Property
    Eva was very hospitable and kept in touch to make sure we enjoyed our stay and we were comfortable. We asked to stay an extra night and she was very accommodating. The property is about 15 minutes from the nearest town but it is very nice and quiet. A good escape to enjoy the Irish country side. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking to avoid the city.

    Ruhe und Erholung pur
    Ein idealer Ort in den Midlands, im Herzen Irlands. Nicht weit zur Atlantikküste, Ausflüge nach Sligo oder Galway, von dort eine Fahrt entlang des Wild Atlantic Ways nach Clifdon bieten sich an. Aber auch nach Dublin ist es nicht weit, bietet sich ebenfalls für einen Tagesausflug an. In der Näheren Umgebung gibt es einige schöne Schlösser und Parks zu besichtigen. Wir hatten einen erholsamen Urlaub in einem schön gelegenen Cottage, etwas außerhalb des nächst gelegenen Dorfes. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, bietet viel Platz, so dass wir uns auch an den Ruhetagen, an denen wir nicht unterwegs waren, wohl gefühlt haben. Der Kontakt zu Eva als Vermieterin war immer herzlich unkompliziert.

    Das schöne und ruhig gelegene Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und freundlich und immer erreichbar.

    Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Eva. Le gîte était conforme au descriptif, endroit agréable, tout à disposition. Bien placé pour visiter Dublin, le Connemara, tourbières, musée de la famine, Athlone.. pour la pêche. Eva est attentive au bien-être de ses hôtes.

    Tolles Cottage in wunderschöner Landschaft
    Eins von den wenigen Objekten, die den Bildern auf der Website auch wirklich gerecht werden. Es ist an alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs gedacht. Eva ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Leider haben wir sie nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Aber ihr Sohn war immer gleich zur Stelle, wenn es Fragen gab und hat sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert. Die Lage des Cottage ist ideal für Ruhesuchende, die gerne mal abschalten wollen. Aber es gibt auch einiges zu sehen und zu tun in der näheren Umgebung. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung!

    Ruhig gelegenes, tolles Ferienhaus
    Wir waren als Familie für 11 Tage bei Familie Bischof bei sehr schönem Wetter zu Gast. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön gelegen und komplett ausgestattet. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und denken sehr gerne an unseren Urlaub zurück. Vielen Dank dafür!

    Beautiful home & location
    We needed a place at the last minute and we're happily pleased to get this one. It was beautiful inside and out, completely equipped with everything we needed and it made us feel completely at home. A wonderful fireplace added to the cozy feel and the quietness of the land around us made us totally relax. Eva, our hostess, was so kind to get us in last minute and then showed us all that it had (including a luxury coffee maker) and how everything worked. We would love to stay there again!

    Wundervolles Ferienhaus
    Wir haben uns während der 14 Tage im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Wie zuhause. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, Waschmaschine mit integriertem Trockner, Kaffeeautomat, Fernseher, Kamin (haben wir bei dem guten Wetter nicht gebraucht) und alles was an Küchenausstattung gebraucht wird. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich und die Gardinen reichten als Verdunklung aus. WLAN wurde gut genutzt, wie auch die Gartenmöbel. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und ohne Mietwagen wären wir aufgeschmissen gewesen. So konnten wir viel anschauen: Galway, Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, Tullynally Castle ... Es war ein entspannter Urlaub auf der grünen Insel und nur einem Tag mit ein bisschen Regen. Danke an Eva und Fredy für diese gemütliche Urlaubsunterkunft!

    Sehr schöne Wohnatmosphäre und abgeschieden
    Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und haben sich toll gekümmert, das Haus ist mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Aussen gibt es eine grosse grüne Wiese. Speziell für unsere jungen Leute war die Internetanbindung toll. Das Haus liegt abgeschieden und sehr ruhig, zum See sind es 10 min Gehzeit. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung.

    Familienurlaub im Herzen Irland‘s
    Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt in der Barley Harbour Lodge. Es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Ein bisschen mehr Sonnenschein hätte nicht geschadet ;-) Wer gern mit dem Auto auch mal längere Strecken fährt, kann von hier aus viele Ausflugsziele erreichen. Ohne Auto ist es aber nicht der geeignete Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in ca. 20 min Fahrtzeit entfernt.

    Truly wonderful place to stay!
    It will be hard to summarize all the great things about this property, but I'm going to try: - We met both Eva and Rico, Eva's son, and they were both extremely kind and helpful. They provided plenty of tips and information about the cottage, exploring Ireland, and even the Dublin airport process when we were heading out. They were also very responsive over the app. - The cottage had all the amenities you could hope for, and is in a beautiful, serene location. There is a fireplace with both wood and peat to burn, which made for some lovely evenings. - There was a basket full of brochures about various sites to visit in Ireland, which we made good use of! The cottage is right near the center of Ireland so pretty much everything can be a day trip. -The cottage had three separate bedrooms, one of which had an ensuite bathroom separate from the main hall bathroom -The inclusion of a washing machine and dishwasher made a long-term stay very welcoming Overall this was a fantastic property with very responsive hosts. It was spacious, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. We loved our time here and you will too!
