"If you want to get away from it all , this is the place, this little island . No casino , no golf club, no cars, no TV, only adults , landscaping lovingly maintained , but not excessively, super friendly staff, incredible massage team. Bring books and relax and sleep off your stress , on this island you are condemned to do nothing but enjoy the hospitality."

It was excellent for that BUT I wish we had stayed here for 3-4 nights as opposed to some of the other places we stayed on our trip. "This is our most recent of many past stays at Amila. We always stay at Amila when we travel to Sipalay to visit my wifes family. Tobias , his wife (owners) and their entire staff are are nothing short of terrific. The location is so good, restaurant food delicious, sunsets amazing. "

"Stayed in a deluxe room. It was clean and well equipped. Bathroom looked really cool. The swimming pool is just wonderful! Staff is friendly and attentive. The beach is swimmable during high tide but otherwise beautiful all the time. Sun sets into the sea. The only problem we faced was that there was no dinner served in the resort. If possible to book your stay online then you should do it as the prices are slightly higher when paying on the spot. Would definitely go back and recommend to...

"Lovely little place. Very small so if you’re looking for a big hotel with lots of facilities it won’t be for you. But the room was great, big, good air con, comfortable bed etc. and very nice people, reasonably priced food and drink etc. overall for the price I was very much surprised on the upside and would definitely recommend. However some rooms are quite small so I’d recommend paying a tiny bit extra for one of the bigger rooms if they’re available. We had room 10 and it was lovely."
