The close to 3 mile trek is worth it but definitely a workout. The Waterfall is truly beautiful. We were the last group in and basically had the place to ourselves. The park closes at 4:30pm and the 3 mile hike takes about an hour each way. The last truck that takes you there leaves at 12:30 and picks you up at 2:30.

Do the horseback riding to nauyaca waterfalls. The company is fantastic! They helped us jump from the cliffs into the water. So much fun! Food was great as well. We met so many great people while on our ride.

The hike is moderate to difficult due to the heat and lack of tree cover in spots. We swam at the upper Falls which were quieter and more relaxing after the long-ish hike. The crowds at the lower falls looked like mayhem (see photo).

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. Take the truck shuttle to the falls and the walk is long and very hilly.

Bring appropiate sneakers for 5km walking from the entrance until you reach the waterfalls. Also carry a bottle of water, you will need it!!! If you will like to enjoy a little bite, bring it! :)
