"Whoever promotes Japan to foreign tourists needs to experience this place. It sets their efforts back by decades. It is my worst hotel experience anywhere in the world in the last 10 years. This place should be closed until given a major revamp. Best feature: it is convenient to the Subway. "Nagoya Kanayama Hotel has an unbeatable location, situated right next to Kanayama station where you can hop on and off Mu-sky train, Nagoya Meitetsu, JR train and the subway Meiji/Meiko lines. Plenty of restaurants around the area to choose from too. Personally found it better than staying in Sakae or Nagoya station area. Hotel room is decent, simple room with all the things you need. "
