"Apartment is new and very well appointed. There are 2 bedrooms - one has a western bed and the other has futons. Bedrooms are small and doesn’t have cupboards or other furnishings. That is fine because we spent most of our time in the living area. The kitchen is very complete and all utensils are provided. There are 2 separate toilet bowls but only a shared shower. A true traditional experience.

"View from our room to the lake and Mount Fuji was worth every single penny. Highly recommended that you either rent a car or be prepared to pay for taxis to go down to the town and restaurants. Most of the times it will be around 2,200 yens for a one way trip, so consider this in your expenses. Great traditional hotel with the opportunity to have a private onsen in the hotel. "
