We were on a tour with reservations but we felt rushed. Would have liked to stay longer.
Planned to go to Muir but learned you had to reserve parking which we didn’t know about. We would have had to wait around for hours. Muir should advertise that on their website
Didn't know about booking 3 days in advance. Drove 6 hours the night before to be close and avoid traffic only to be kept out by booking policy. Totally absurd!
Tried to get in with my National Parks pass, apparently I forgot to make reservations ahead of time. It was a waste of an hour or so to get there. So if you plan to go, make sure you reserve a spot on their website first.
YOU HAVE to get reservations to go to the Muir Woods. We found out too late (who would think as its a national park), but its for Parking reservations. Limited space, but go online and get your reservation in.
