"I like accommodation that is clean, neat and functional for the tired traveller but without paying the extra expense for luxury that i don't need - and MK Stay was perfect for that. I initially booked a room that was great, then realised i should stay longer, and all that was available was a tiny room. Even so, this was ok for me and i was grateful that it was available. Things were thoughtfully laid out - there were enough powerpoints and good lighting with the combined bathroom/shower/toilet...

" I bòok for smiley inn but they transferred at joyous inn where i can say that it Not advisable for solo female travellers to stay in this place the room is so small and it has a bad odor sink has lick. The place where your pass going to the elevator uncomfortable to pass by alone..book for 2 night but ended up staying for lesa than 24hrs."

"It was not a great neighbors, but, ok. It was easy to move around the city from that point.The doorman in the night time is very unpleasant. But the morning young men is ok. We need exactly direccion to get to the hotel because, the people who come to visit Hong Kong are people who don’t know the neighborhood. "

"Great value for money. Very small as expected with a private toilet and showers. They forgot to put towels, which were not absorbent. The receptionist was very helpful and explained how to use the facilities. Just follow the email's direction. "

"Exceptionally clean with basic amenities and free teabags. 12-min walk to the bus station that connects to Tung Chung Station. Host provided detailed instructions for arrival and sightseeing options. didn't explore since my partner couldn't come to Hong Kong due to his mum having succumbed. just passed the free cancellation period. advise choosing 'pay at hotel' if needed."

"The room is small, it’s common in Hong Kong, but it has everything we need. The front desk lady is super nice, she gave us many suggestions on sightseeings, transportation and dining places, which saved a lot of money for us. The location is unbeatable, only 10 mins walk to Victoria Harbor; local street food and restaurants just down the street. "

"Right at the Tsim Sha Tsui city flyer A21 Bus stop or Tsim Sha Tsui station. Convenient and cheap for a quick layover in Kong. The guest house in the Chungking building, look a bit shabby at first but it’s actually very safe, it’s Kowloon and people are very respectful. In short, good value for money especially on a budget."

"Worst place I have ever stayed. Please note that this is not a separate building, just some rooms on the 12th floor of the building with many similar "hotels" in it. The staff spoke very little English and couldn't give me directions, so a nice policeman showed me how to get there. There are only 2 lifts for this busy building and they are always occupied so you have to queue for ages to get upstairs. "Around 15 mins from the airport but definitely worth it for an overnight stay. Clean hotel with a very nice view. Selection of breakfast is also very good. Will definitely comeback and stay here. "

An excellent hotel with excellent service

"We have visited HK many times and usually stay on the Island side. We chanced upon this hotel which is a little away from the main tourist areas but walkable to MTR stations on either side of the hotel. Taxis are readily available. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The room we had was very good size with a large bathroom and a good sea view. Housekeeping was efficient and prompt. The food served at Cafe and Japanese restaurants we dine in during our stay were very good, Definitely a re-visit. "
