"We enjoyed a three night stay in this pastoral farmhouse apartment. Our hosts Marianne & Fritz were both welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. This farmhouse is tucked away outside the small village of Oberbalm in the foothills of the Berner Oberlands. However, it is only a 25 minute drive to Berne city center, and about an hour from Interlaken. We would definitely stay here again."

"Rooms were extremely hot and weren’t ventilated. Internet was super slow. So many bugs in and outside the stay. As well the door handle literally came off just from trying to close it. As well when we arrived we found a towel that was covered in blood. "

The immaculately clean apartment is the bottom floor of a rustic Swiss chalet overlooking the farm and rolling hills. The location is stunning where the only sounds you hear are distant cow bells and sheep. Simon and Beatrice were friendly, kind and supportive from the time we contacted them to when we left. "This hotel was perfect for our stay in Bern. Very convenient for walking to all of the sites and museums we wanted to see. Parking at Metro was convenient and undercover. The area had had a deluge of snow before our arrival so any street parking was not possible. I would suggest booking dinner in advance as is was quite difficult getting in at the better restaurants in the area"

"Stayed for one night when visting Bern. Great hotel. Super clean, helpful staff and the continental breakfast was terrific. It totally exceeded my expecations and I'd stay there again. Very close to the train station which is convenient. Highly recommend!"

"As an American who has been to Europe 230 times, I know hotels. The Ibis styles was great. Five-minute tram ride from the main railway station, spotless rooms, friendly staff, and an absolutely great buffet breakfast, easily rivalling what you get in a 4-star hotel. Brilliant!"
