600 m2 for 19 people, a real modern chateau life.
Bizard is the ideal place to meet with family or friends, to organize internships, seminars or retreats, and this at 2H15 from Paris. Space, calm and comfort are the most! All on a 700 ha property. A small house attached to the ruins (opposite the Château de Bizard - prohibited to the public) is occupied by a young and sympathetic very discreet family.

Everyone has their own garden space.
Two parts: the house and the outbuilding. 10 rooms:
In the Residence: 4 bedrooms with double beds (king bed), 2 bedrooms with twin beds and 1 bedroom with 1 bed. As well as 5 bathrooms.
Very large kitchen - dining room: the friendly place where everyone can find a small glass of rosé in hand. Very well equipped kitchen.
The living room is very cozy and comfortable with all its sofas and its wood stove (wood offered). The homemade coffee table is still all the rage!
A beautiful back kitchen hides the 2 fridges, the 2 dishwashers, the washing machine, the dryer, the oil boiler.
In the outbuilding, 3 bedrooms upstairs with their private bathroom and downstairs a large living room; the working or relaxation lounge with internet access, and the pleasure lounge with the beautiful ping pong table.

Towels, bath mats, kitchen towels are not include in the price (8€/p if you want to travel light)
in the summer, pool towels are not provided (6€/p if you want to travel light)

Delivery of baguettes, pastries upon reservation.

As for the exteriors, a beautiful 12/5 m swimming pool with a flat bottom (140 cm), heated from June to mid September at 24 degrees. Pergolas and pool beds to enjoy the view of the fields and the forest. A beautiful terrace protected by a pergola will allow you to have lunch and dinner outside in the shade. Possibility of long walks in the woods on foot, by bike or on horseback. Tennis is next to the owners' house, as well as the fishing pond where amateurs will enjoy.

La Demeure de Bizard is located at Domaine "Les Orfeuilles" in Monthou-sur-Cher.

This magnificent residence is reserved for families, respectful couples, who will make it an honor not to deteriorate the premises. Young people under 30, parties, parties and weddings are prohibited.

- Departure at the end of the day on Sunday for "weekend" rentals

Chaque aspect de ce Gîte était incroyable. Les chambres sont exceptionnelles et la propriété était très jolie. La maison est près de plusieurs petits villages et beaucoup de bons restaurants. Très belle propriété dans un cadre agréable
Je recommande fortement cette location qui est idéale pour l'accueil d'un groupe de plusieurs familles par exemple. La maison est très bien équipée, les chambres spacieuses... le tout dans un cadre agréable. Bref, l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer.

Propriété De standing dans un cadre remarquable
Notre séjour aux Orfeuilles nous a enchanté. La demeure était très spacieuse, aménagée avec goût et soin, avec en bonus une literie confortable (lits King size) et une cuisine avec des équipements de qualité. Ideal location for a large family holiday
This Gite entirely lived up to expectations. Two magnificent accommodation buildings with well equipped kitchens and living space surrounded by acres of grass and woods, with a good swimming pool. Isolated from others so noisy children were not a problem. Wonderful time playing rounders! Villages nearby were lovely and Montrichard was a super place for eating. River Cher provided canoeing under chateau of Chenanceau. Owners were welcoming, spoke English and very fair. Would gladly come again for another family celebration. Thanks Stephanie

Had a great stay, and would stay again. I would have liked the pool to have less bugs. Outdoor furniture could be a bit more comfortable. A few more amenities such as hand soap and more pillows would have made the stay more comfortable (we are Americans). David and Stephanie were both very nice and the take pride in the property.

très jolie demeure en pleine campagne ,au calme ,proche de beaucoup de châteaux ,de caves vinicole , de champignonnières , et autres curiosités , La Maison est très bien équipée en quantité et en qualité pour ce qui est des ustensiles de cuisine et appareils électroménagers. Nous étions 5 couples et nous aurions pu être bien plus sans se sentir à l’étroit. La propriétaire est très sympathique et très réactive .

Fantastic!
We had a such a wonderful stay at Bizard, it is hard to say what we loved best about it. The spaciousness and light of the main living floor was just superb and so well organized for any size group, large or small. The views out the windows from all positions to the expansive surroudning property, with the fields of green, the majestic trees, the impressive ruins nearby, and the towering sky, constantly drew the eye. Restful and yet energizing the same time. Cooking and socializing the open kitch and dining table was perfect, and the space flows so well from there to the large but intimate sitting areas. We loved the easy access at either end to the second story living quarters, one via the siganture tower, and the ground floor bedroom at the far end was extremely convenient for anyone needing ground floor accomodation. The upstairs bedrooms were all large and comfortable and the ensuites were updated and in pristine condition. Walking the vast property was a delight, and a great relaxation and a break fror those for working while on travel. So easy and quick access to the charming nearby villages, with great restaurants, shops, boulangeries/patisseries, fromagers, and so much more, several of them on the gorgeous Cher river. Blois is an easy drive and Tours a well, among other beautiful cities in the environs along the Loire and the Cher. And I can't foget the daily bakery delivery - really terrific and not just your average at all! We really cannot recommend the stay at Bizard too highly. Stephanie is a charming and friendly hostess, and her husband Mark is warm and friendly and there whenver needed. They have done a masterful job of rennovating a historic property into a extremely funcational modernized chateau, and the you get that feeling of a very friendly family property that happens to be avaiable with great privacy to those lucky guests who disover it in their travels. And an incredible value as a well, I have to add. It is a tremendous value for the travel or relocation expense. Overall for in a business relocation and as seasoned travelers, we have to say Bizard was absolutely oustanding for travel, touring, and doing business in the region. A peaceful, beautiful, and stimulating abode to base from while in the Loire et Cher!

Nous avons passé un week-end juste parfait ! La demeure était grandiose, super jolie et nous avons eu la chance de profiter du barbecue, de la piscine, de la table de Ping Pong et des espaces vert très agréable ! L’endroit est idéal pour passer un bon moment entre amis. Stéphanie et son mari sont très accueillant et jovial, ils nous ont très bien accueilli, n’hésitez pas une seconde vous ne serez pas déçu du voyage! Encore MERCI

Nous sommes venus au Domaine de Bizard pour un week end prolongé à 10 adultes et 9 enfants. Nous avons passé un excellent moment, facilité par Stéphanie qui a été très sympathique et arrangeante. La maison est spacieuse, joliment rénovée et décorée, très bien équipée et parfaitement conforme à la description et aux photos (voire peut être encore mieux!). L'espace extérieur est vaste et bien agencé et nos enfants ont pu s'en donner à cœur joie. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Maison exceptionnelle, cadre idyllique !
Nous étions 14 et beaucoup d'espace pour nous reposer et profiter de nos vacances. La maison est très spacieuse, chaque chambre a sa salle de bain avec wc et elle est meublée avec goût . Le jardin est immense et donne sur une belle forêt, nous y avons même vu des chevreuils. La proximité des châteaux de la Loire nous a permis de faire des visites culturelles. Le tennis et la piscine (nous avons pu nous y baigner tellement il faisait beau) sont un vrai plus. Les hôtes sont très gentils et facilement joignables lorsque nous avions besoin d'eux.

Excellente maison, énorme domaine, superbe région
La maison est très grande et a beaucoup de possibilités pour des grandes groupes. La maison se trouve dans un domaine énorme où on peut faire des grandes promenades par des lacs, un château et vers le Cher. Il y a beacoup de vent; ceci refroidit la piscine.
