"We really enjoyed our stay here, driving up felt like entering the set of Downton Abby!! We stayed in one of the side apartments - it was so beautiful and we loved the walking path near by. The down side is that we didn't get sheets or towels provided, (also no hand soap!) By the time we noticed, the staff had already left for the evening. Luckily we had some of our own bedding, There had been some discussion about sheets during check in, but there must clearly have been a misunderstanding. ...

"The property was located in the centre of all the restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the caves for the Christmas market which was a convenient location. The Hotel itself had a large restaurant. There is no lift and a very steep staircase to the rooms. Our room had a faulty lock so each time we tried to go out it took several minutes for the lock to catch. We did advise a member of staff but they did not do anything about it. "The Reception staff much improved since our last visit. They were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is comfortable and in a great location. Parking continues to be a problem - there isn’t any! You need to pay and park on the street which is 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. "

"The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot. Bathroom is tiny. breakfast doesn't open until 9AM, which is quite late if you want to get up and go somewhere, so we had to get breakfast at a different place. "I was on a business trip but this is obviously a hotel for old retired tourists. There was live music very loud in the garden that I could hear in my room with windows closed. Impossible to work or sleep."

"The Mimosa was a wonderful place to stay during the Christmas holidays with my partner. The room was clean, well maintained and perfectly suited for our needs.
