We also did the cooking class on property which was awesome and the hotel also set up a wine tour for us and it was great to be shown small family wineries. "We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm, accommodating and responsive. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany. Unfortunately the listing was very specific about there being 3 bedrooms, which there simply were not. With young adult / teenage children, this had been a very key deciding factor, so was a significant disappointment as it meant some difficult negotiations and stresses throughout."

"The air conditioning was very poor, the room was like a sauna, we had to get up at 2am and open the door as it was too hot to sleep. No window in the room to let air in. The rest of the property was fantastic, the restaurant food excellent too."
