"We come to Portugal every year, staying in new places all the time, 12 people or more. This property was very close to an incredible beach, when i say close i mean less than 5 min walk with young ones at heel. They came and changed the sheets and kept things clean, the icky thing i missed that we usually see is someone cleaning the pool, but the tools where handily they're and the kids loved to do it. We will most likely come back! Definitely recommended"

"This is a lovely property that is very close to the beach and a 5 min cycle ride to Monte Gordo. There is also a nearby shop attached to a cafe that is perfect for essentials. The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Pedras d'el Rei. Short walk to the beach. Good food in multiple restaurants. Family friendly. Friendly, helpful staff. Could be better: Parking was cramped, sometimes hard to find a space."

"Wir trafen eine sehr schöne und von der gesamten Bausubstanz komfortable, ruhig gelegene und sehr saubere Wohnung an, die mit allem ausgestattet war, was man für den Urlaub benötigt. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Die Gastgeber Erich und Saini waren äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ihre ausführlichen Besichtigungstipps sowie Restaurantempfehlungen konnten wir gut gebrauchen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. "

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "

"My wife and enjoyed our stay in cabanas, the resort was bigger than we expected and definitely more family oriented, but still very enjoyable for us. The flat was very lovely, had what we needed and a nice covered patio. The local grocery store was a 5 min walk and well stocked. Day trips to Tavira were not expensive but you can’t walk from Cabanas to Tavira, it’s bus or taxi. "Staying in the deluxe room with the jacuzzi on the patio was a must. It’s a short walk to town although the restaurant food quality was a bit disappointing and restaurants were empty due to the season. We didn’t dine at hotel. However we capped off each night with a drink in the hotel’s fabulous rooftop bar. The hotel was almost empty so it was surprising we had to wait for our room( we arrived early) but they kept saying not ready when when we finally came back at the specified check in time there was a lineup and then we had to wait even longer. However the gentleman at check in was helpful when we were trying to get a package delivered. "

Four nights in Monte Gordo.

"Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. Was a small fishing village before tourism and no natural harbour so the fishing boats are launched by tractor pushing them into the sea. Many eateries, cafes etc in the town. The bed we had was very comfy and the shower was so lovely , with power and heat. Also had a fridge in the room. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Cheers 😁😁"
