"Loved my stay (in the female only dormitory) - the bedroom, shower rooms and toilets were soo clean, very impressive. Did not use the kitchen much, but was not able to find green teas or coffee - maybe I just did not know where to look. Met friendly fellow travellers . Front desk host helped me with my luggage (rooms are upstairs) This place is great, quiet, and located near Hida No Sato - BUT rather far from downtown Takayama. "We stayed in the family suite. The design was well thought out and the beds were comfortable. The location was across the street from a 7 Eleven which was super convenient. There is a ramen place next door. It is a close walk to the bus station and you can walk from the hotel into town. Overall it was a really pleasant stay for a family of 5."
