"This is our second stay at this property in La Cala which is small and basic with no amenities; there is a café at street level which is very popular and useful with a varied menu for breakfast, lunch or snacks up until 4pm. However, the property is clean, staff (Daniel, Carlos & Albero) are very helpful, it is extremely well positioned, convenient and walkable to the surrounding areas or to access bus/train journeys further afield. "We stayed with adult children and a couple of friends. The views from the villa are stunning due to being at the top of the hill - we didn’t mind the climb as it made us feel better about all the calories we were consuming! The rooms were lovely and the separate en-suite room below the house was a god send for us (the boys stayed in there) Cala de Mijas is a wonderful town with lots of bars and restaurants and easy to get to Marbella by bus, Malaga a little more difficult. "Cannot fault this property’s location, 2nd floor apartment with balcony facing the beach beside Arab tower in middle of town. Everything you could possibly need is in the apartment plus some beach chairs etc. in garage below apartment. Highly recommend this property for location, view, comfort and amenities. Hope to return in 2025. Great communication with owner Steve who was very helpful. Overall we had an excellent holiday made all the better by this apartment. Thank you."

"We had a two bedroom apartment, very spacious, reasonably well appointed, only shortfall was they didn’t have a spatula for the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Plaza lounge was ok, had entertainment three nights a week, but it doesn’t change much, at least while we were there, so after first week , mehh."
