"Very spacious condo, comfortable with old school charm. Basic local cable, but the Roku hook up allows you to login to any streaming service. Good location to Lincoln Peak. Only minor thing is very low water pressure in the showers, not sure the owner or manager can fix that. Check with the fitness club on closing hours if you want to use at night. Overall, good experience and the unit has an accurate description. We would come again."

"Great view on Sugarbush resort. Close to services : grocery store, gas station… Plenty of linens, pillows and towels. Fireplace is enjoyable after skiing. Many hooks to dry the clothes. Complete set of dishes and cooking tools."

Ski mountain is 5min, adjacent hostel has a great little restaurant, all maybe 50 meters from Condo, ski shop and snowboard shop 1 block away and gas station / convenience store 3min down the road. Plus, condo was very clean, well organized with anything you need and the host was very accommodating and responsive. 5 stars and I’ve been coming up for years."

The kitchen was extremely well stocked--we lacked for nothing. The house itself offered rooms for large family gatherings while also offering private spaces if someone wanted some quiet time. "We had a wonderful visit to this house during peak fall foliage. It has great views of Mad River Valley and the Mad River ski area. You can walk to hiking trail access points. The property is private and serene, but also just a quick drive to Waitsfield. Plenty of seating in living room and for dining four group of 8. Nice, large entryway to keep gear in. "Although an historic property the Inn has been updated and we enjoyed a clean, well appointed room right down to a sound machine to ensure audial comfort and improve sleep! Freshly baked cookies and caramel apples greeted us in the foyer and a detailed and spotless coffee and tea bar was just outside the guest rooms. The custom breakfast served in the main inn was excellent. Warm scones, rich coffee, French toast with Vermont maple syrup and perfect eggs with sautéed baby spinach in front of a fire listening to Miss Simone and other classic jazz vocalists…..simply heaven Cannot wait for another opportunity to return. "

"We stayed only one night, though, eager to return! Madbush Falls totally impressed us … rooms are hip, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped especially unique was the in-room beverage station (pour over coffee was awesome). The restaurant was hopping upon arrival and as soon as the GM knew we were guests he made sure we got a table. Menu was creative and absolutely delicious. Wishing we could have stayed for Sunday Brunch & Bluegrass music, and we will absolutely take advantage of a plunge in the falls next time. Sounds like the property is seeking to expand their offerings, which are already exceptional and satisfyingly eclectic. This is an authentic upscale base camp for biking, hiking, leaf peeping and of course ski season. "

Fantastic Stay at The Mad River Inn

"We had a fantastic stay at Mad River Inn with Brandon and Suzannah. Breakfast was incredible with a sweet and savoury option every morning. The game room is a lovely extra. The location is great with easy access to Stowe and Waterbury close by with great restaurants. Our room was comfortable and cosy - a fantastic place to stay for a weekend away"
